Curry Puffs.

  • 100 g short crust pastry.
  • 50 g minced meat.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/2 beaten egg for blazing.
  • 1/2 chopped large onions.
  • 1 tbs oil.
  • 1 tsp curry powder (mixed to paste.)
  1. Heat the oil; fry the chopped onions add curry powder paste and little water.
  2. Add minced meat, potatoes and salt.
  3. Cook till dry, remove from sauce pan and cool.
  4. Make the pastry; roll out dough till approximately 1/2 cm.
  5. Cut into circles using a round pastry cutter.
  6. Put little filling in each, wet the edges and fold into half.
  7. Pinch the edges or prick with a fork.
  8. Arrange on a baking tray. Glaze with eggs and bake on the top shelf of a hot oven.
  9. Serve on oval plate and garnish with few parsley or red chill.
