  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 liter oil for deep frying.

  1. Get the meat and cut out bones and remove all the fat from it.
  2. Use knife to cut the meat into flat oblong shapes with 1-2 cm thick.
  3. Pour corn flour or wheat flour onto the cut pieces and use a chaps beater/ rolling pan to make the meat soft and tender.
  4. Beat the eggs into a bowl, add in salt which is just enough, curry powder, garlic and onions and mix them well.
  5. Marinate the chaps into the bowl of egg mixture and leave them for about 15-30 minutes.
  6. Remove the chaps slowly from the eggs each in turn and fry them in hot oil until cooked and place on the kitchen paper to drain.
NB: They can be garnished with tomatoes, green pepper and cabbages. You can also beat the onions and garlic together with the chaps and minced meat can be used instead.
